Edible Sugar Wafer Paper thick 300 - 320 g

This thicker wafer paper, which is 0.55 mm thick and weighs 300-320 g. Printing any photo on it makes it indistinguishable from a real photo. Being thicker, however, it is also much more fragile than thin edible paper and is, therefore, less suitable for making flowers. When handling, we must be careful and use it only on flat surfaces so that the image does not crack. if you want the printed edible paper on the cake to be as beautiful as possible, your picture or photo must be of good quality. For larger formats, we recommend 1000 x 1000 pixels. I will be happy to help you verify that the image is of sufficient quality. Once you have selected the image, select the size you want to print it on. A4 and A5 formats are designed for rectangular cakes; A3 formats must be folded from two A4.

A round cake can be decorated with round edible paper. First, cut out the desired shape with scissors; just be careful not to smudge the image with wet fingers! Always place the printed paper on a light surface (dark would shine through). To attach it, use a special gel; you can also order here from my shop. First, apply the gel layer to the fondant-coated cake and place the edible paper on it. Then rub the whole picture with gel - this will bring out the colors, and the cake will be better cut. Place the decorated cake in the fridge for a few hours to solidify the gel. However, as the environment in the fridge is often very humid, it is good to cover the whole cake so that the moisture contained in the air does not damage the photo.

If the cake is well covered, it will last several days in the fridge without damage.

ATTENTION! The surface under the photo must not be too watery! For this reason, I do not recommend placing edible photos on whipped cream and or gelatin at all! Risk of dissolution or at least rippling and deterioration of the photo!

The edible paper is odorless and tasteless. It is actually a thin wafer, decorated with food colors. It has similar properties to conventional paper - it can be printed on and must be protected from moisture. Its composition is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. When ordering, choose the shape you need from my offer. If you want to print the entire A4 sheet, simply select the A4 rectangle. Upload your photo in the box at the bottom of your chosen shape. If you want to place more photos on one sheet of paper, just attach them to my e-mail and write down in the notes how many photos you send me and how you want them positioned. I will send you a draft before printing for approval the following day. After your approval, I will print your photo and send it as soon as possible. When ordering, it is better to count on several days of spare time!
